Do I need to make a reservation?
Walk-ons are welcome! Reservations are NOT necessary to go fishing with us but fishermen with reservations will be loaded first.
Cancellation of reservations must be made 24 hours before sailing or credit card will be charged half price.
If the captain cancels the trip you will receive a complete refund if deposit was received.
What should I bring with me on the boat?
camera, sunglasses, hat, small (6 pack) cooler, suntan lotion, snacks
Is there anything I should NOT bring on the boat?
No flip flops
No fish coolers
We have no age restrictions. We do not recommend our trips for children under the age of 5. All children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
You are welcome to bring alcohol on the boat but please drink responsibly. Remember that it’s a fishing trip, not a drinking trip. Captain’s orders overrule ALL policies of the company when at sea.
What about alcohol on the boat?
We suggest that you use the Chilmark off site parking facility on Tabor House Road. Drivers can drop passengers off at the boat and then drive to park the car and take the bus.
Is parking available?
The Coast Guard does NOT require that passengers on Skylark need to wear life jackets. Life saving equipment such as life jackets, life rings and life rafts are aboard the boat and are stowed according Coast Guard approved regulations and are available for emergencies. Although wearing a life jacket is not required you are welcome bring your own.

Do I need to bring my own fishing equipment?
You are welcome to bring your own rod and reel but we have all fishing equipment for you. Bait and tackle are supplied.
Do I need a fishing license to fish on Skylark?
No, the boat is completely equipped with all the licensing for you to fish.
